Pre-screening Casting Calls for More Efficient Placement

Maintain Fame will now act as a pre-screening agent for almost every casting call we post. After communicating with many casting directors who work with both actors and reality tv stars, we noticed that all of them had the same complaint. They receive tons of casting submissions that are missing information or the person who is applying to be considered does not fit the casting call description.

Therefore, we have worked out a deal, where we will screen all submissions and forward only those who have the slightest possibility of actually making the position.

Here’s an example of our pre-screening:
If ABC Casting is looking for a 16-year old mother and you are a 20-year old frat boy, your submission will not be forwarded to the casting directors. If you are a 16-year old mother, and we just don’t like your application – we’ll still forward it. We do not judge based on looks, personality, etc. We simply screen those who have absolutely no chance of making it anyway.

The Benefits of Pre-Screening:
The benefit of applying to a casting call through our pre-screening process is that you’re more likely to get noticed. Casting directors take our submissions seriously because they know half of the work has already been done for them. Our recommendation is that even if you apply on some other site, or appear for a live casting call, you should still apply through us because it will probably improve your chances.

We also accept general submissions. If you would like us to keep your acting/reality submission on file, we will do that. Simply email a short blurb about yourself and 2 pictures of yourself to contact@maintainfame.com. If you have a talent resume, you may submit that as well.
