Casting Male Actors in Connecticut and New York
“East Toward Home,” will be a 2 week workshop. This is a new show being in New York City. Actors, actresses and dancers will be paid a stipend at market rate for rehearsals and performance.
Both Acting Roles paid $700 / week stipend
We are casting for an actor to play the role of Woody (Male, age range 40 – 60). This character is based on Woody Guthrie, telling stories adapted from his life. Actor needs strong storytelling, acting, and singing skills. If the casting actor can play the guitar, that’s an added advantage.
We are also casting for a younger adult between age 20 – 40
YOUTH (age range 20 – 40) – A New York raised, Woody Guthrie wannabe. This role is streetwise and book-smart. A searcher, recounting his adventure hitch-hiking around America following in the footsteps of Woody Guthrie, his cultural hero, looking for his own voice. This actor should be able to sing and dance well.. Youthful.
